The Details of the IELTS Exam Before Sitting for the Exam

IELTS is an International English Language Testing System. This is a course to identify your English language proficiency. We know that English is an international language. We are using English language to communicate with any foreign friend. Nowadays it’s very important for the people who want to go abroad for their higher studies. Many students want to do their higher studies in Europe or American countries, And those countries are approve by depending on IELTS score and also good academic results. So people want to do IELTS for their future. People are confused because there are two individual types of tests. Below we will discuss it.

We know that there are two different types of IELTS exams; those two different parts are for different guys.

  1.  IELTS Academic
  2. IELTS General Training 

Academic is for those people who want to study in an international university for graduation/postgraduate Degrees. and who want to make their career in a foreign country.  This test will assess your ability to know how much English you know. It’s a little bit difficult for IELTS General Training.

2. IELTS General Training is a test for the people who want to work in an English speaking country. This test will assess your English communication skill and how much you can understand and communicate in your social area and workplaces. 

These two types of English tests will assess your ability of the English language by using four individual types of tests. Every language origin depends on four-part if you want to learn that language. As usual, The English language also has it. Those four types are Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. 

The Details of  Four Parts of IELTS :

1. Listening

Listening is also significant part of the IELTS exam because only one time you will take a lesson and that time you have to also write down the right answers. For the listening test, you have to be a good listener because they will use their mother language accent. 

2. Speaking

It is also a very difficult part for the people who are afraid to speak with others. In this part, you have to speak in front of your examiner and he will ask you different types of questions and he will assess your speaking skill.

3. Reading

In this part, you have to cover three different types of paragraphs and you have to fill up individual types of fill-in-the-blanks. You have to answer 40 questions in only 1 hour.

4. Writing 

The duration of this test is also 1 hour. You have to answer all of the questions. You have to write different types of paragraphs in different time limitation 

After completing all tests you will get your band score. It will be up to a band score of 9. By calculating all of the test scores you will get your overall band score. We discussed the whole process of the IELTS test. We hope that will help you.
